Bangi, Selangor, 16 December 2015 – Silentmode Sdn. Bhd. today announced that RMC Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. has selected Slurp! point-of-sale (POS) system for all of its licensed outlets in Malaysia. Slurp! is a cloud-based POS system where the main host application is installed and running on an iPad device at every Rumah Makan Cibiuk premise. Meanwhile, Slurp! waiter app which connects wirelessly to the iPad is used by employees to record customer orders using smartphones. This mobility adds much flexibility and convenience to the outlets’ operation especially during peak hours where the waiters can take orders on the fly without the need to queue in front of the counter to key in orders. Rumah Makan Cibiuk prides itself as an affordable fine dine restaurant which serves high-quality Sundanese cuisines.

The cloud based characteristic of Slurp! enables the management team members of RMC Food Industries to access sales reports of each outlet easily on the Internet in real-time either by using a laptop or smartphone. Even during Internet connection outage, the POS system can still work without a hitch and will resume the real-time sales update whenever the Internet connection is available again.

Currently, there are two Rumah Makan Cibiuk licensed outlets adopting Slurp! Another licensed outlet of Rumah Makan Cibiuk is set to open by end of this year.

Rumah Makan Cibiuk in Taman Putra, Kajang which was opened through a joint-venture and acts as the group operational headquarters for RMC Food Industries has also been adopting Slurp! since earlier this year.

RMC Food Industries also plans to install Slurp! POS at several more licensed outlets in Malaysia which are going to be operational in 2016.
