The Ministry of Finance Malaysia has officially announced that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate for Malaysian will be set to zero starting 1st of June, 2018.
According to the statement, all registered businesses are required to comply until further notice and should still continue to adhere to the current rules set forth in regards to tax invoices, the delivery of tax returns within the prescribed period of charge, and input tax credit claims.
